Stickers on soles

Stickers have thousands of applications in modern world. They are used not only in professional field – they are glued on phones, laptops, cars, walls, and clothing and of course notebooks.

And on soles.

One enterprising woman in USA Alex Pappas decided that there is a new use of stickers. She offered to glue them on bottoms of high-heeled shoes.

How come?

There see. Genius woman noticed that shoe designers do not pay attention on soles and are coloring them in neutral and boring colors. Alex worked out a series of stickers which can be glued on bottoms of shoes and are changeable if needed.

Alex created stickers with flags, popular ornaments and amusing pictures. She liked an idea of wedding organizers and created a collection for wedding shoes. There were stickers with writings “Yes, I Do”, “Just Married” and so on. A good business idea, isn’t it?

Another great story is about Anya Hindmarch – she has made a leather sticker brand. In summer and autumn season 2015 did start selling of stickers with smileys, call-outs and lightning, and they became popular. She earned 18 millions of dollars in only two seasons.

Anya got her inspiration from memories about school. In her childhood everyone glued bright stickers on exercise-books, journals and book bags. Anya found out that there is a way to make complex and colorful drawings on the leather, so usual sticker turned into an fashion accessory.

It is worth to make stickers from bananas, isn’t it?
